Annunziata's
Youth Ministry Program is open to all youth ages 13- 18 and in grades
8th through 12th. All are welcome to join us for any and all events. We
strive to offer many opportunities for youth to experience Christ
through fellowship and service. Please visit often to see what's new.
Upcoming Parish Events...
-We will have a youth night on September 4 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the Resource Room.
-Youth Faith Sharing Dates are as follows:
October 3

More dates will be announced soon. All faith sharings are open to anyone, especially youth interested in attending Steubenville on the Bayou. They take place in the Resource Room from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.
-We will have a youth dance on October 10 after the 7:15 Mass. Cost is $5 and it will end at 10:30 PM.
-We will have a youth "event" on November 26 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM. You will need to have your own transportation to the Ball Park. After playing a round of Putt Putt Golf, we will walk over to McDonalds to eat and then continue to Pinocchio's for Laser Tag. Your ride must pick you up at 8:00 from Pinocchio's.
-We will have a youth lock-in on December 26 from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Cost is to be announced.
-Mark your calendars! Our annual youth retreat will be from March 11 through March 13 of 2011 at Lumen Christi Retreat Center! More details will come soon!

Diocesan Youth Ministry News:
-Teens Encounter Christ is a retreat designed for youth in grades 10th - 12th to further develop their relationship with Jesus. The retreat is based on the Paschal Mystery of Christ which is a reflection of his life, death, and resurrection. The retreat utilizes small group discussions, adult and youth presentations, prayer and community building exercises. The sacraements of Reconciliation and Eucharist are also celebrated. TEC takes place at the Lumen Christi Retreat Center in the Fr. Souby Building. The next dates are November 19-21, 2010.*
-aNew Experiences are available every month in varying parishes throughout the diocese. It is a night with music, prayer, and a speaker to spiriutally feed both youth and youth ministers. For more "aNews", check out our Youth Events Calendar page with dates and locations.
-The Diocesan Youth Rally will take place on April 16, 2011. More information is to be announced.
-Christian Leadership Institute is a six-day retreat at Lumen Christi designed to teach youth in 10th- 12th grades how to be a Christian leader, in church, school, and activities. It will be held on July 13-17, 2011. Registrations will begin in the spring of 2011. Keep updated for more information!*
-Steubenville on the Bayou 2010 is over! For more information on the Steubenville conference, visit www.steubenvilleonthebayou.com.
-Adore is a series of four Wednesdays each semester that includes music, a speaker, and an opportunity to Adore Christ in Eucharistic Adoration. The next semester will begin in the fall.

-The National Conference for Catholic Youth Ministers will be held in New Orleans from December 9, 2010 until December 12, 2010. If you are interested, more information will be available towards the end of the summer.
